Scale Naturally was created by neurodivergent, 2SLGBTQIA+ founders. While our intersectionality is invisible, we know what it's like to feel excluded and to not belong in the dominant majority.
Our DEI workshops weave in personal stories and illuminating perspectives that create empathy-driven action. We create a brave space for leaders and team members to learn, ask questions, get real answers and be inspired to move forward with greater understanding. The more inclusive your workplace is, the greater the well-being and engagement for all.
We all have a lot to learn when it comes to Diversity and Inclusion, yet many experience barriers such as guardedness, fear of "getting it wrong", or a general lack of awareness, which stops progress.
In a space of non-judgement, this groundbreaking workshop courageously addresses the common barriers to inclusivity and belonging in the workplace. This results in increased engagement around inclusivity efforts, empowering the culture shift toward inclusivity.
Discover an innovative approach that uses powerful frameworks that illuminate overlooked gaps and fuels inclusivity through genuine emotional connection. Hear stories of lived experience from a 2SLGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, trauma survivor that humanize the importance of belonging in the workplace.
"The shared lived experiences really help, along with providing a safe place to ask questions, reflect and converse.”
Cathy G, Executive Director
Pauw Foundation
Did you know that one in five people is neurodivergent, those who are autistic, have ADHD, dyslexia and more?
These unique brains come with challenges in the workplace but also powerful advantages (Famous neurodivergent people include Richard Branson, Steve Jobs, Lewis Capaldi, Billie Eilish, Emma Watson and more). This is your opportunity for your leaders and team to gain an understanding of neurodiversity to expand inclusivity and better support neurodivergent colleagues to be at their best, whether they are neurodivergent or not.
Research has shown that teams with neurodivergent colleagues are up to 30% more productive and make fewer errors (Deloitte). When provided with the right environment, neurodivergent team members are loyal and highly productive, leading to reduced turnover.
During this workshop, we equip leaders with the knowledge and understanding needed to support neurodivergent colleagues to do their best work, foster a sense of belonging and promote greater well-being for all team members.
Drawing from the Empowered Culture of Care Framework, we share three foundational skills of psychologically safe leadership and provide the Neuro-Inclusive Feedback Framework. Leaders leave feeling empowered, inspired and capable of supporting neurodivergent colleagues to be at their best.
With one in five Generation Z adults in the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, the modern workplace requires all leaders and employees to be educated around inclusivity to this marginalized group.
Education, stories and lived experience are shared in our illuminating workshops that drive immediate, empathy-driven action. Participants walk away with compassion and simple steps to take to have your workplace be more welcoming to 2SLGBTQIA+ folks.
Workshops include:
The Power of Pronouns to Foster Safety and Belonging
2SLGBTQIA+ Inclusion in the Workplace
We are passionate about creating inclusion for those in the 2SLGBTQIA+ community who are often harmed by unintentional micro-aggressions on a regular basis.
"I never realized how something seemingly insignificant to me could be so significant and supportive for someone else, their identity, and sense of self.”
Nelson, Operations Planning & Infrastructure
City of Edmonton
"I knew a little about why we should use pronouns, but never have I had such an explanation that really hit home the way Makaylah’s did.”
Shannon Fountain
Town of Banff Community Helpers Program Coordinator

35% of Canadians say they’re currently experiencing burnout, according to a recent survey (by the Harris Poll on behalf of Express Services Inc.) With the majority of our time spent at work, it’s clear that now more than ever, creating well-being in the workplace is essential.
The good news is there are things you can do to improve employee well-being, with great benefit to your business.
"When your employees' wellbeing is thriving, your organization directly benefits -- they take fewer sick days, deliver higher performance, and have lower rates of burnout and turnover. But when your employees' wellbeing suffers, so does your organization's bottom line.” - Gallup
During this workshop we share practical insights on how to foster a supportive environment that enhances well-being and reduces the risk of burnout for leaders and team. Leaders learn foundational psychologically safe leadership tool that empower them to foster well-being both for themselves and their team members.
